Terms & Conditions – TotalEnergies Gas New Connection Registration

🔹 A. Domestic LPG Connection

1. Eligibility

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid KYC documents must be submitted.

2. Documents Required

• Proof of Identity: Aadhaar Card / PAN.
• Proof of Address: Aadhaar.
• Passport-sized photograph.

3. Registration & Verification

• The applicant must submit a duly filled TotalEnergies Domestic LPG Registration Form.
• Verification will be carried out, after which a Consumer Number will be issued.

4. Security Deposit & Charges

• A refundable security deposit will be collected for the cylinder(s) and regulator.
• Installation charges, accessories, and delivery charges must be borne by the consumer.
• Prices may change as per government and company policy.
• ⚠️ If the consumer avails business opportunities or referral income, the security deposit will not be refunded.

5. Usage

• Gas supplied under the domestic category is for household cooking use only.
• Commercial use under this category is strictly prohibited.

6. Safety & Liability

• Consumers must use ISI-marked stoves and accessories.
• TotalEnergies shall not be liable for any damage, accidents, or loss arising from negligence or misuse by the consumer.

7. Transfer / Surrender

• The connection can be transferred or surrendered with proper documentation.
• A refund of the deposit (after one year from the date of booking) will be made only upon the safe return of the cylinders and regulator, and is subject to the above conditions.

🔹 B. Commercial LPG Connection

1. Eligibility

• A commercial connection is available for hotels, restaurants, industries, businesses, institutions, and other commercial establishments.
• Valid business proof / GST certificate / Trade License may be required.

2. Documents Required

• Proof of Business: GST Certificate / Trade License / Firm Registration Certificate.
• Proof of Address: Electricity Bill / Rent Agreement / Ownership Document.
• Identity Proof of the Authorized Signatory.

3. Registration & Verification

• Applicants must submit the Commercial Connection Registration Form.
• After verification, a Commercial Consumer Number will be allotted.

4. Security Deposit & Charges

• A refundable security deposit is payable for commercial cylinders and regulators.
• Installation, equipment cost, and delivery charges shall be borne by the consumer.
• Tariffs, deposits, and supply charges shall be as per commercial pricing decided by the company and/or government.
• ⚠️ If the consumer avails referral income or business opportunity benefits, the security deposit shall not be refunded.

5. Usage

• Gas supplied under a commercial connection is strictly for commercial/industrial use only.
• Use of domestic cylinders for commercial activity is illegal and punishable under law.

6. Safety & Liability

• Commercial consumers must maintain approved storage and safety standards.
• Regular inspection may be carried out by the company or authorized officials.
• TotalEnergies shall not be liable for any accidents or damages caused by mishandling or unauthorized usage.

7. Transfer / Termination

• The connection may be transferred to another business unit or terminated with valid documentation.
• A refund of the deposit (after one year from the date of booking) will be made only upon the safe return of the cylinders and regulator, and is subject to the above conditions.

🔹 General Compliance (Applicable to Both Domestic & Commercial)

• All rules are subject to Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas guidelines and TotalEnergies company policy.
• TotalEnergies reserves the right to revise deposits, tariffs, and terms without prior notice.
• Any misuse, fraud, or violation of these terms will result in immediate cancellation of the connection.
