Terms and Conditions for Solar Panel Installation (DCR & Non-DCR Systems)

(Advertised through LDBS Bazaar, Executed by LDBS India Private Limited)

1. Definitions

“Company” refers to LDBS India Private Limited, responsible for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of solar energy systems under valid authorization from an MNRE-empanelled vendor.
“Platform” refers to LDBS Bazaar, which functions solely as an advertisement, marketing, and customer-referral platform.
“Customer” refers to any person, organization, or entity purchasing or installing a solar system through the Company or its promotional channels.
“System” refers to the complete solar energy setup, including solar panels, inverters, structures, cabling, and accessories.
“DCR System” refers to systems manufactured with Indian-made solar cells and modules compliant with MNRE’s Domestic Content Requirement policy.
“Non-DCR System” refers to systems that include imported solar modules or cells not covered under DCR guidelines.

2. Role of LDBS Bazaar

LDBS Bazaar acts only as a marketing and referral platform for solar installation services offered by the Company.
It does not engage in sales, installation, or after-sales service, and bears no responsibility for supply, warranty, or subsidy processing.
All business transactions, payments, and warranties are directly between the Customer and LDBS India Private Limited.

3. Scope of Work

The Company shall design, supply, install, and commission the solar system as per approved standards and site requirements.
The Customer shall ensure suitable roof/ground space, accessibility, and required permissions for installation.
Any additional civil, structural, or electrical work beyond the quotation will be billed separately.

4. System Type and Specification

DCR Systems: Indian-manufactured modules and cells; eligible for subsidy as per MNRE and state DISCOM policies.
Non-DCR Systems: Imported or mixed-origin components; not eligible for DCR-based subsidy.
All systems will include high-quality, BIS/MNRE-approved components supplied through authorized channels.

5. Pricing and Payment

Quotations are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise.
Payment shall be made as per the mutually agreed schedule.
Delay in payment may cause work suspension or rescheduling.
Prices exclude GST and applicable taxes unless specified otherwise.

6. Warranty and Product Support

Solar Panels: 10 years product warranty and 25 years performance warranty (as per manufacturer).
Inverter: 5 years standard manufacturer warranty.
Other Components: As per OEM warranty.
Warranty is void if the system is relocated, modified, or damaged due to external causes.
The Company will facilitate warranty claims and ensure compliance under the authorized vendor’s warranty framework.

7. Subsidy and Government Approvals

DCR systems may qualify for subsidy based on MNRE and DISCOM policies.
The Company may assist in documentation and submission, but approval and release of subsidy remain the responsibility of the concerned government department.
The Company is not liable for delay, modification, or rejection of subsidy by authorities.

8. Installation and Commissioning

Installation will begin after order confirmation and site readiness.
The Customer shall provide uninterrupted access to the installation site and grid connection point.
Any delay due to weather, material availability, or regulatory clearance is beyond the Company’s control.
After installation, a commissioning report will be jointly signed.

9. Operation and Maintenance

The Customer shall clean solar panels regularly and ensure basic maintenance.
Optional annual maintenance services may be provided under a separate agreement.
Generation output depends on weather, maintenance, and location; no fixed energy output guarantee applies.

10. Liability and Limitation

The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses due to performance issues, grid failure, or subsidy delays.
Total liability is limited to the value of the installed system or warranty replacement, whichever applies.
LDBS Bazaar shall have no financial or legal liability regarding product performance or customer payments.

11. Non-Returnable Policy

Once system components are ordered, dispatched, or installed, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Site-specific or customized materials cannot be cancelled after order confirmation.

12. Force Majeure

Neither the Company nor the Platform shall be responsible for any delay or non-performance caused by factors beyond control, including natural calamities, strikes, transportation disruptions, or government restrictions.

13. Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where the registered office of LDBS India Private Limited is located.

14. Acceptance

By signing the quotation, work order, or making payment, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions and recognize LDBS Bazaar’s limited promotional role.
